How2talk2kids training: The English edition
The How2talk2kids training sessions are based on the English book ‘How To Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk’ by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish.
The training will cover the six chapters (building blocks):
- Dealing with feelings
- Engaging cooperation
- Alternatives to punishment
- Encouraging autonomy
- Descriptive praise
- Freeing children from playing roles
In each session we discuss two of the building blocks of the How2talk2kids-method. There is a 2-week period in between sessions, so you will have enough time to practice the given skills at home. An e-learning programme will be available to help you prepare for each session.
Invest in the relationship between you and your child (aged between 0-20). The How2talk2kids-method teaches you to respond in a way that increases the self-esteem of your child, and decreases the struggles and conflicts at home.
Date: Thursdays – March 5th, March 19th and April 2nd.
Time: 19:00 – 22:00
Trainer: Janneke Kemner (native speaker)
The training costs are € 275 including 3 training sessions, materials, e-learning and 21% btw. The book ‘How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish’ is not included.
